There was a time when booksellers, printers, bookbinders, publishers, and even the owners of books wanted to leave their mark - to acknowledge their place in the life of a particular volume.  These tiny labels were usually pasted inside the rear cover and are quite often just as interesting as the books they are pasted in!  Here are some that we run across day to day in some of the books we offer.
